Joint Commission Approved

Our Center has earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Nursing Care Center Accreditation by demonstrating compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal of Approval is a symbol of quality that reflects an organizations commitment to providing safe, effective patient and resident care. Our Center underwent a rigorous on-site survey. During the review, Joint Commission expert surveyors evaluated compliance with nursing care center standards related to several areas, including assistance with activities of daily living, coordination of care, staff education and training. Surveyors also conducted on-site observation interviews with leaders and staff of the organization.

CMS 5-Star Center Recognition

Our Center has received a Five Star Quality Measures rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS). The Five-Star Quality Rating System is a tool to help consumers select and compare skilled nursing care centers.  Created by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in 2008, the rating system uses information from Health Care Surveys (both standard and complaint), Quality Measures, and Staffing. The Nursing Home Compare website features the rating system.

Google 4+ Customer Rating

Handling more than 5.4 billion searches per day, Google is the most used search engine on the World Wide Web. To help their algorithms sort through billions of web pages and provide the most relevant results to their users, Google provides consumers with an opportunity to leave a business review, which includes a rating from one star (poor) to five stars (excellent). Google then averages the ratings to determine an overall star rating.

My dad was a resident of thia facility from 2007 to 2012. Staff was very friendly. I only had one incident with them, how ever it was resolved. My dad didn't complain much he enjoyed his time there. Most nursing homes are always short staffed and they took care of their residence even if they were. I appreciate everything they did for my dad Willie. Thank you guys so much

My Father was there for a year. The staff is friendly but cover up for wrong doing. When my father was in the first week. Over $200 worth of his clothes was stolen. His name was in all of them yet staff couldn't find who stole them. Then money started coming up missing. To the point that the center had to get him a lock box. Then the dietitian put my diabetic father on a high carb diet. I was told by the staff it was a state of Florida recommend diet. I done my own research and found out that there is no state of Florida recommend high carb diet. My father stopped eating it and then got harassed for not eating it. By the director and staff. My father also started to have to get blood transfusions as soon as he was admitted. Dr. Thigpen didn't send him to get test or to a specialist to find out where he was loosing blood. When the center opened for visits I went to see him. He had lost weight and looked pale. So I called and demanded he be sent to the hospital. By that time he was to weak to be operated on to find the bleeding. My father bled to death four day's later. I do not blame the center for this. They can only do what Dr. Thigpen ordered. If it hadn't been for his aid Jennifer my father wouldn't had his sheet's changed. Got shaved or his oxygen tank replaced on a regular basis. I thank her for such loving care she gave my daddy. I thank the center for trying to care for him under the rules they have to fallow. In my opinion, I would recommend here. Just don't allow Dr. Thigpen to treat your family members.
